Hawaiian Real Estate & Lifestyle MagazineHawaiian Real Estate and Lifestyle

Message from Audrey:
I recently made a decision to take a new direction in my career as a Realtor. My goal is to embrace change and always move forward. Accepting change was a hard lesson for me to learn. Now I look at it as something new coming my way. Life was not always easy for me growing up in a construction and developer family. I have had many ups and downs – mostly downs – but I kept on pushing through. A major life change occurred when I was 35. I broke both my arms in an equestrian accident and it took five surgeries and two years of physical therapy to get my life back on track – or rather, restart my life.

That’s when I made the decision that this time I was going to do it right. I was going to delegateand not try to be “Wonder Woman.” I was going to pass on doing those things that I am not good at and concentrate on what I do best, “investing in your future through real estate.” I believe in the “givers gain” theory. I love to give! Giving comes easily for me, and I love to promote others. I find that giving others testimonials on their behalf is a great way to say I trust what they do and would do business with them.

This is how this magazine began. The parameters Red Gazelle and I worked with were to create something that no one else is doing on Oahu; allow people who I do business with to promote to those whom I want the best for in their personal or professional lives; create clear, concise messages for only one business in a category so that each business can shine while providing their promotional message; and give a gift to those whom I have met along the way in my business and personal life. I want this magazine to be informational, but also fun! As we grow, it may change ever so slightly to fit the needs of those who are receiving this gift. Please give me your opinions and let me know what you think we should do to improve. This is the first issue with a second to come in the summer of 2008. If you have a special story or message to tell, let me know. I want this magazine to be something that we all can share.
